The Yurt
Last Sunday, most of Vail mountain was closed due to high winds....what to do? We found a Yurt to take shelter in. To our suprise, there was a ton of hotdogs, burgers, chips, etc. in the Yurt for Skier appreciation weekend. This is greatness on a mountain where most hamburgers cost $13 or more. We decided to take full advantage of this and eat our faces off. Not that best food I've had, but definitely the cheapest...good story ;). Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Tony Furtado
We also saw a great show on Saturday night...Tony Furtado at Swallow Hill Music School. Swallow Hill is a really small venue in an old church which is now a music school. Kind of a random venue, but very intimate. Pam and I got a picture w/ Tony!!! Was introduced to Tony Furtado in college and have loved his bluegrass music ever since. He's amazing on the banjo. Check him out at http://www.tonyfurtado.com/ Some of my favorite songs are Rove Riley Rove, False Hearted Lover, and Hazel Comes home (my all time favorite). Let me know what ya'll think...hope everybody has a great week!
The Kitchen
Anywho, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cool with clean modern decorations. I love it! The picture is of our dessert of homemade donuts with a spicy chocolate dipping sauce. Joy decided to drink it ;), it was seriously that good. Find out more at http://www.thekitchencafe.com/.
